If a renter returns your car with new damage, we ask that you first contact the renter directly to understand what happened.
In order to be eligible for insurance coverage, you must report the damage to us immediately or after the end of the rental which ever comes first.
To be eligible for coverage, please send several photos of the damage and up to 3 quotes* which can be obtained through Fixico to us within 24 hours after reporting the damages along with any other relevant details (including any available police report). If the renter is at fault and the damage exceeds the access amount linked to their deposit, we will file a claim with our claims department and a representative from our Claims Department will contact you to guide you through the claims process. Your vehicle is protected by our claims fund against accidents and theft up to R150 000.00
